Osrican - Αυσρëκφιν · (Ausrëkfin) /ˈɐu̯.sɾək.fɪn/
Osrican is a naturalistic artlang, which means that it is meant to reflect the quirks and idiosyncrasies that natural languages have in the real world, it's meant to be believable, like a language that could realistically develop in the real world.
It is also an a posteriori conlang, which means that instead of being created from scratch it's actually based on already existing languages, in this case I designed it to be a Germanic language which means that Osrican is related to languages like German, Dutch, Swedish, Icelandic, Frisian and English.
Osrican is written with a variation of the Greek alphabet and it's spoken in an alternative history setting, in a fictional country called The Republic of Osric (in Osrican: Αυσρëκφια Ρëπιυβλικ · (Ausrëkfia Rëpüblik) /ɐu̯s.ɾəkˈfi.ɐ rə.pʏˈblik/) located in the Balkans region of eastern Europe.
